BreastFest benefits St. Mary's Breast Health Center providing services for local women & families.

Co-pays for prescriptions and appointments
Post-surgical necessities such as compression garments and medical equipment
Genetic testing for patients as well as their families
Scarfs, wigs and other items providing dignity, comfort to patients to help self-image.
Transportation for patients to and from appointments
Utiility, water and food bill assistance

Five sisters lost their mother to breast cancer when they were 24, 21, 15 and 12 years old. 
In order to prevent that same fate for other women & families, they started BreastFest 
and founded the Tyanna Foundation.

1 in 8 women will develop breast cancer
Breast cancer is the second leading cause of cancer death in women (lung cancer is first)
White (Asian & Pacific Islander) women are diagnosed but more Black women die from breast cancer.

BreastFest, and more specifically the Tyanna Foundation, was founded by five sisters who lost their mother to breast cancer when they were 24, 21, 15 and 12 years old. In order to prevent that same fatefor other mothers, 
they created the BreastFest & the Tyanna Barre O’Brien Breast Cancer Foundation. These 5 sisters and an army of volunteers on a mission to eradicate cancer deaths and make breast cancer less prevalent on the planet.

BreastFest is…
• 100% VOLUNTEER run and ALL FUNDS STAY LOCAL
• A BIG PINK PARTY with live music, food, drinks, games, kids activities, basket auction
• The Wall of Hope (photos, names & hearts to honor loved ones)
• A funny name for a serious cause…our mom was a very funny person!
• PATIENT CARE: Supporting breast cancer patients, families, local wellness programs for women & children
